I volunteered the other day for an installation that Patrick Dougherty is doing at the Florence Griswold Museum. Patrick is a sculptor from North Carolina who weaves nature into amazing structures and exhibits throughout the world.

I felt so fortunate to be a part of this process. We spent a rigorous morning stripping the leaves off of local saplings baring only the lines of the branches. Some trees could fit in your hand and some were over 15 feet.

During the next 3 weeks you can watch the progress of the project
