The cure for grief by Nellie Hermann

I just finished this book and recommend it.
It is summed up near the end, when she recounts
her father saying:
"Life is the highest good, whenever it is possible, choose life."
She learns to understand what he means,
the choice of life on its own,
the choice of the world, of love for the gift of being here,
living and owning it, feeling lucky to be alive , it is all so fragile,
none of it permanent or guaranteed,
but we are here right now to see it,
be a part of this glorious mystery......
these are her words and I agree!
