Sunset

The sunset on the Long Island sound. This time of year, the colors are so pure. I can't stop thinking about it. 

Talisman Collection

Dina Varano will unveil her latest “Talisman” collection of necklaces on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. The second in a series that was first introduced in June 2014 to rave reception. These thoughtful compositions are renderings of traditional Talismans meant to evoke inspiration and protection for the wearer through the use of symbolic sterling silver and gold charms and significant gemstones, crystals, beach and river stones.

25 Years!! Celebrate with us on Friday, September 18th from 5-9 in Chester!! This is my first business card from 1990.

Now we dip. Dye, wash, dry to oxidize. The cool thing is the bath is purple, your piece comes out green and then it turns that amazing blue color as it hits the oxygen in the air.

The next stage is designing, wrapping, tying, folding, twisting, bundling and experimenting! I love this stage because you can plan it all out carefully, or just randomly do something, and never know if it's going to work out or not and which one will come out the most beautiful.
