 I have so much fun making marks and transforming metal.  In this digital world, I find the tactile and the hand made essential. At the moment, everyone likes to know where their food comes from. I feel it is the same with jewelry.  To know someone spent time and care on each piece, seeing and feeling the mark of the artist's intentional hand tells a story. Like a quilt,  jewelry can be passed down through the years, having longevity and integrity.

Here are some new pieces for the Talisman Collection. It's been so fun to create these and watch everyone find the piece that speaks to them. Each necklace is a thoughtful composition of symbolic elements and carefully chosen stones. The collection is inspired by the traditional significance of Talismans and their purpose and ability to invoke inspiration and to provide protection for the wearer. 

Each necklace is accompanied by an original ink drawing.

I love this hand drawn quote by Thich Nhat Hanh. I always like to visit it on display at ABC Carpet in NYC. Time to breathe and bring clarity to your mind. This is one of my goals for this new year.
