Lines

The beach and what is washes up is a
never ending inspiration.
I'm intrigued by these lines,
the feel of them, the worn shapes.
Hmmm, I see a new line coming....

The cure for grief by Nellie Hermann

I just finished this book and recommend it.
It is summed up near the end, when she recounts
her father saying:
"Life is the highest good, whenever it is possible, choose life."
She learns to understand what he means,
the choice of life on its own,
the choice of the world, of love for the gift of being here,
living and owning it, feeling lucky to be alive , it is all so fragile,
none of it permanent or guaranteed,
but we are here right now to see it,
be a part of this glorious mystery......
these are her words and I agree!

Falling Leaves

I can't believe it's that time of year already.
The fall is my favorite time. I love the colors, the bright sun,
the cool crisp air and the deisire to snuggle up and light a fire!

New Hat Fashion

Sienna just popped this on her head one day.
I love how kids just come up with things on their own.
I hope they never lose that!

Spiral Necklace

I first made this necklace after spending time in Greece.
The spiral is such an ancient form.

Lines and more Lines

I just love these branches. They are line drawings in nature.
